Is this an official KSRTC app?
No. Where is my KSRTC is an independent, unofficial project. It is not built, endorsed, or operated by Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) or by any third-party data provider — see the Terms & Conditions for the full disclaimer.
How accurate are the live positions and ETAs?
They come straight from a live GPS feed and are estimates — vehicles can go out of service, signals can drop, and traffic is unpredictable. Don't rely on this as your only source for anything time-critical; always allow buffer time.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no login anywhere in the app or on this site. Saved buses and preferences live only on your own device.
Does it work without location access?
Yes — track any bus directly by number or link with no location permission at all. Location is only used for the "buses near me" view, and you can decline it and still use everything else.
What does "I'm on the Bus" actually share?
Only if you explicitly turn it on for a journey: your bus's live position, snapped to its route — no name, account, or device identifier. It's deleted automatically when your trip ends. Full detail in the Privacy Policy.
